Ehlanzeni District Municipality Health Services Department hosted a pesticides Safety Awareness Campaign in two primary schools within Mbombela Local Municipality Area on 18 and 19 April 2012 . The selected schools are within areas which previously had pesticide poisoning cases that affected mostly learners.

Ehlanzeni District Municipality has had a blessed valentine’s morning on the 14th February 2012 when the Auditor General Mr. Terrence Nombembe led a team of (10) officials from his office visited to hand over a token of appreciation for having received for the second time in a row another clean audit report for 2010/11financial year.

The District level consultative engagement workshop ensured that there is alignment with Vision 2030 programme, held at Ehlanzeni District Municipality Council chambers on the 23 February 2012.
